Fly of the Week 2/25/2013: Scud

This week, I tied up a scud. This is a great fly for all trout as either a single fly or a dropper off another fly. I recommend hooks sized 10-16, but here I am tying a size 14.

Recipe:

• Hook: 14 Scud Hook
• Thread: 8/0 Uni Thread Green
• Body: Chartreuse Ice Dubbing, Small Copper Wire
• Back: Clear body stretch
