Fly of the Week 3/4/2013: Zonker
This is one of my favorite streamers for two reasons: A quick easy fly to tie and how effective it is. The zonker can be tied in many variations, but this is one of the easiest. It is great for all trout species and very effective for salmon as well. Great colors for zonker strips are olive, yellow, black, and grey but don't hesitate to mix it up.
