Fly of the Week 2/19/2013: Lefty's Deceiver

Bernard "Lefty" Kreh is one of the most famous people in fly fishing. His claims to fame are his knowledge of saltwater fly fishing and his book titled Fly Fishing in Saltwater. With that being said, he also created one of the best known saltwater flies called "Lefty's Deceiver."

Recipe:

• Hook: 2/0 Saltwater Hook (Allen's Fly Fishing)
• Thread: 6/0 Danville's Flat Wax Nylon White/Orange
• Tail: White Saddle Hackle
• Body: Silver Bill's Bodi Braid
• Belly: White Buck Tail
• Back: White Buck Tail, Chartreuse Buck Tail, Peacock Herl
