Fly of the Week 3/19/2013: Mickey Finn

There have been a few stocking reports floating around for New England and I am thinking of what to arm my box with for streamers. Mickey Finn is an old reliable. Tie this on a size 6 or up to a 2 depending on the size trout/salmon you are going to be fishing for. You can change this up to tie it on a spey hook and dress it as a hair wing, but regardless this is a great reliable fly.

• Thread: 6/0 Uni Thread Black
• Body: Silver Bill's Bodi Braid/Medium Oval Tinsel
• Back: Yellow and Red Buck Tail
